About the Witch. Meet Denise — Artist, Energy Healer, Wild Spirit
I’m Denise—the heart, hands, and witch behind Wicked Ass Witch. I’m a maker, an energy healer, and a woman on a lifelong journey of transformation, fueled by magic, grit, and a deep love for the Earth.
Every piece I create begins with a feeling.
My partner and I travel across Vancouver Island to places that call to me. Sometimes it’s a forest path, a forgotten roadside, or a quiet beach after the rain. When I feel the energy is right, I stop and gather wood or natural materials—always respectfully, always with gratitude.
Back home (or wherever we happen to be parked), I begin the real magic. Each stick or wand is sanded smooth by hand, its natural shape revealed and honored. I burn symbols, sigils, and stories into the wood—guided by spirit, intuition, and the energy I felt when I found it. Then, I seal it in resin to preserve and protect its power.
This isn’t mass production. It’s ritual. It’s healing. It’s my heart on every inch of bark and flame.
In 2023, I became a certified Energy Healing practitioner, trained in a method taught right here on the Island and rooted in the teachings of Dalton’s Bioenergy Work. My practice is about aligning the energy body, clearing trauma, and holding sacred space for people to feel whole again.
Wicked Ass Witch is where my healing and creativity meet. It’s a place for anyone who feels a little too wild, too weird, or too witchy for the ordinary world.
